University of South Carolina – West Campus Development

In 2013, our firm advised the University of South Carolina regarding the West Campus development which included the first design-build-operate-finance-maintain procurement under our State’s Consolidated Procurement Code. This innovative project resulted in the delivery of research, commercial, and student housing space pursuant to detailed University specifications in the heart of the University’s research campus, all without additional debt for the University. At the conclusion of long-term ground leases, the facilities will revert to University ownership.
