Pope Flynn acted as bond counsel to the City of Aiken in connection with three tranches of revenue bonds to replace the city’s largest water treatment plant. The firm advised the City as it leveraged ARPA grants, state revolving loan funds, and publicly offered revenue bonds. This important project will replace an outdated existing plant with a state of the art facility to serve the region for decades to come. Pope Flynn served as bond counsel on the Series 2024A ($31.6MM), 2024B ($27MM), and 2024C ($3MM) bond issues, and as disclosure counsel for then publicly offered Series 2024A bonds.
